3. Vesuvius National Park will be visited if the option is booked. It's an Italian National Park centered on the active volcano Vesuvius, southeast from Naples. The park covers an area of around 135 square kilometers and hosts 612 vegetable species and 227 wildlife ones. About Salerno

Salerno is a port city at the eastern end of the Amalfi Coast, with a Norman cathedral, a palm-lined seafront and a castle on the hill above.

Salerno curves around a gulf with a long palm-lined waterfront, the Lungomare, and a medieval centre of narrow lanes behind it. The cathedral, begun in the eleventh century under the Norman duke Robert Guiscard, has an arcaded atrium and a tall bell tower, and the city was home to the Schola Medica Salernitana, one of the earliest medical schools in Europe.
