Points forts
Robin, Mt. Shasta Fun Guide takes you up close and personal on Mt. Shasta. Stops include getting the best tasting water on Earth, feel the magic and energy the mountain has to offer, see rock formations from Ancestral Mt. Shasta, learn about the interesting flora and fauna that lives and grows on the mountain, and so much more. Mt. Shasta has been my home for over 35 years and has given me the opportunity to practice and perfect the backcountry skills needed as an outdoor professional and tour guide. Itinéraire
This is the location of the Headwaters of the Sacramento River. Many people try the clean and refreshing waters that come right from the ground waters of the spring. This was also part of the hunting grounds for the Native American Tribes that lived in the area.
This area is very unique with its geologic history of the rocks from Ancestral Mt. Shasta and spiritual vortex energy. Learn about the famous Lemurians, the City of Telos, the Yaktavians, known as the bell makers and more. We will either walk or drive in depending on road conditions.
Ascension Rock is a well known Power Spot! It is a short walk in. Many people like to do silent meditations at this location.
This is the main trailhead on Mt. Shasta. We will be at 6,950 ft. We will take a short walk up the trail and get excellent views of the mountain. We will also learn about the Shasta Red Firs, White Bark Pine, the local birds and other wildlife of the area.
This stop is available from July 1-Nov. 1 depending on weather conditions. We drive up to 7,900 ft. Learn the history of Mt. Shasta Ski Lodge that was operational from 1959 to 1978. A series of avalanches lead to its closure. Spectacular views of the Klamath Mountains and Mt. Eddy range.
