Itinéraire
We meet in front of our office, right in the center of the lovely town of Kalampaka. We pick and adjust our bikes and equipment. Your tour leader will lead you out on a 3-hour sightseeing tour by e-bike. See all the remaining active monasteries with stories about tradition, history, and landmarks you see along the route. We will take short breaks for pictures and chat and as the sun slowly sets behind the mountains we will stop and enjoy the most amazing sunset from the best spot in Meteora. Groups are small, with a maximum of 9 people and your smiling local tour leader. Other things to note We offer a variety of bike sizes so everyone will find the right bike.
We ride through Kastraki and we stop at the end of the village where your tour leader will give you information and answer your questions.

This was an amazing experience and great way to see Meteora, the monestaries and beauty of the landscape. Vasilis was such a great guide and his knowledge and passion for the area was the best part. Learned so much about Meteora. The ebikes were super easy. Great photo spots for sunset/evening photos. Very personable experience. Happened upon it by chance and best thing we did in Meteora. About Meteora
Meteora is a UNESCO site in central Greece where Orthodox monasteries stand on tall pillars of rock above the Thessalian plain.
Meteora is a forest of sandstone and conglomerate pillars, some hundreds of metres high, rising abruptly from the plain of Thessaly beside the town of Kalambaka. From the fourteenth century monks built monasteries on the summits, reaching them at first by ladders and rope nets, and six are still active. The Great Meteoron, Varlaam and Roussanou are among them, with frescoed chapels and views down the Pineios valley.
