  • 5City tour of Astana

I had a private tour. We saw the highlights of the city. We went up the observation tower, had tea at the famous mall, and entered the Central Mosque.

  • 5Short Quick Trip

I arrived late from my flight from Almaty but the guide & driver where waiting patiently. It was a bit rainy but me & the guide made the most out of it. This is a good introduction to the main sites of Astana if you don’t have much time as it covers the key sites. I would have stayed longer but my flight was the next day. The guide was also flexible if I wanted to change some of the itinerary, which was good as I was exhausted from the flight. The guide also spoke good English & very accommodating. Will definitely visit again soon for a longer trip

  • 5Great intro to Astana

This tour was a fantastic introduction to Astana. We didn't stick to the published itinerary, but everywhere that we went was so interesting. A great guide, who was friendly and knowledgable. I'm so glad that I did this tour, and would recommend it to any Astana visitor.

  • 1Not worth the price they charge

We did like this tour operator they are not at all good. First we booked from viator they cancelled the trip saying we don’t offer pick up from airport and it will be ask upon asking she said to and fro will be 21000 Tenge and our to and fro trip on Yandex cost us 3000 Tenge I mean such a huge difference. She asked us to come to mega mall our guide was Gulzan…. All the sightseeing except mosque, bayterek and one mall rest all was shown from car for that she charged us 64000 tenge for 3 hours ride….. The guide was just in some hurry to finish wrap up and end the tour upon asking if we can visit their stop for photos she said not included in the itinerary though it was there…. Overall it was bad choice we could have easily roam around with Yandex and saved half the cost…. Please if you booking check with them where all will they stop or will it be…

About Nur-Sultan

Astana, which carried the name Nur-Sultan from 2019 to 2022, is Kazakhstan's capital, a young city of futuristic towers on the open steppe.

Astana stands on the Ishim River in the middle of the Kazakh steppe, a flat, wind-swept landscape that brings it very cold winters. It replaced Almaty as the capital in 1997, and the city has grown quickly since, with government buildings and towers designed by architects from around the world. The Baiterek, a tall tower topped by a golden sphere, is its emblem, and the city's planned layout crosses the river.
