  Incredible experience with my son for his birthday with a guide who was amazing : Tater :-) would definitely go back and do it again next season!!!! Definitely worth it price wise and it was done professionally without being rushed!

  We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Quest Expeditions on the Full Ocoee River! Six of us were first-time whitewater rafters, and our guide, Lily, was phenomenal from start to finish. She did an incredible job explaining what to expect, teaching us what we needed to know, and keeping six complete beginners working together through some serious rapids. She was confident, professional, patient, and a lot of fun, which immediately put everyone at ease. You could tell she knew the river extremely well, and we always felt like we were in good hands. The trip itself was an absolute blast—plenty of excitement, big water, lots of laughs, and some memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. Lily was a huge part of what made the experience so enjoyable. Quest Expeditions has a great operation, and if you get the chance to go with Lily, you’re in for a great trip. We would absolutely do it again! Highly recommended!

  Had an amazing time rafting on the Ocoee River! The trip was a perfect mix of excitement, great scenery, and nonstop fun. Our guide, Chase, was outstanding—knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. He kept us safe while making sure we had plenty of laughs and got the most out of every rapid. You can tell Chase really knows the river and loves what he does. He gave clear instructions, kept everyone engaged, and made us feel confident even through the bigger rapids. Whether you’re a first-timer or have been rafting before, I highly recommend requesting Chase as your guide. One of the most fun outdoor adventures I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be back!

• 5Quest Expeditions- Ask for: “Big John”!!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the BEST rafting experience! Wow, I don’t even know where to start! Quest Expeditions on the Ocoee River was, by far, the best rafting trip I have ever experienced! And that says a lot—I’ve rafted some pretty intense Class IV and V rapids in both Colorado and Washington State. We booked the full-day trip with lunch included, and the entire experience was phenomenal. The lunch was absolutely delicious, but the true highlight of our day was our guide, “Big John.” Big John MADE this trip! His charisma, incredible energy, knowledge of the river, and absolute confidence made every rapid that much more exciting. This guy has ZERO fear of the river, and his enthusiasm is contagious! He knew exactly how to make the experience thrilling while clearly knowing the Ocoee inside and out. We wanted excitement, adventure, and some serious adrenaline—and that is exactly what we got! Big John gave us everything we could have hoped for and then some. I’ve rafted some amazing rivers, but this trip stands out as one I will never forget. If you’re looking for an exciting Ocoee rafting experience, book the full day with Quest Expeditions—and if you can, ask for Big John! Absolutely thrilling from beginning to end. 10/10 experience! We would do it again in a heartbeat! 🚣‍♀️🌊🤘

About Chattanooga

Chattanooga is a Tennessee river city between mountain ridges, with an aquarium, a steep incline railway, Civil War battlefields and a walkable riverfront.

The Tennessee River makes a bend at Chattanooga, close to the Georgia border, in a valley between Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge. It was a major railroad junction, and the 1941 song Chattanooga Choo Choo made its name famous. The Tennessee Aquarium stands on the riverfront, and the Walnut Street Bridge, a pedestrian bridge from 1891, crosses the river to a district of parks and cafés.
