1. Cefalù is a coastal city in northern Sicily. It is known for the Norman cathedral, a 12th-century fortress-like structure with elaborate Byzantine mosaics and tall twin towers. It is one of the major seaside resorts in the whole region; despite its size, every year it attracts a significant flow of local, national and foreign tourists who, in the summer, triple the population, making the main squares and the most important streets of the country crowded. 2. The city of Monreale was born with the Normans in the XII century. In this place that the Norman kings retired to rest from the labors of war and the government of Sicily.
