4It was fun but
The facilitator was pleasant and competent but not engaging. A little history of why/how chocolate making got to Belgium would have been nice. Too many steps were shown quickly and it was hard to follow
5Great fun
Loved the experience of making chocolate. Lots of fun and the instructor was very knowledgeable. Well worth trying
5Great workshop
Great experience all round. Get to make a lot of chocolates! Thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend.
5Candy Making- Not to be missed!
Well organized and worth the money. We came away with a box of homemade candy we made ourselves. They even looked professional. Teacher was fun, patient and efficient.
5Chocolate Lovers Must Do!
It was a wonderful experience. Sabina was a great instructor and stepped in when I was doung something incorrectly. The quality of the chocolate and options to fill your chocolates was plenty. I left with 30 pieces, plus a large chocolate bark.
4Fun and relaxed way to spend an afternoon in Brugge
This was a really fun and relaxed way to spend a couple of hours in Brugge. The workshop was engaging without being too serious, and you leave with a box of chocolates you’ve made yourself, which is a nice touch. The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five was the quality of the chocolate itself. Once we got home and actually ate more of it, we didn’t think the chocolate was particularly great. That said, the experience itself was a lot of fun and I’d definitely recommend it as an enjoyable afternoon activity while in Brugge.
Bruges is a medieval Flemish city of canals, cobbled squares and brick gables, its historic centre protected as a World Heritage site.
Bruges grew rich in the Middle Ages on the cloth trade and as a port joined to the sea by a channel, until the waterway silted up and left the city almost untouched for centuries. The Markt square is overlooked by the Belfry, whose 366 steps lead up to a carillon and a view across the rooftops. A short walk away, the Burg holds the Gothic city hall and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
Top-ranked sights in Bruges: Burg Square, Market Square (Markt), Minnewater (Lake of Love).
