The lowest student-to-instructor ratio on the island (just 3:1), ensures a personalized and safe experience for every guest. All lessons start on land with safety and technique instruction before heading into the ocean to put your new skills into action for catching your first waves! At all times you’ll be close to one of our incredible surf instructors. Note: for safety, children ages 5-9 require a private lesson.

- We surf at The Guardrails on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Hwy 30) just south of mile marker 19 in West Maui. When you arrive, please park on the mountainside of the road, safely cross the road, and come down to the beach where our surf instructors will meet you.

About Maui
Maui is the Hawaiian island of golden beaches, the Haleakalā volcano and the winding Road to Hana, with humpback whales offshore in winter.
Maui is the second-largest Hawaiian island, formed by two volcanic mountains joined by a low isthmus. Haleakalā, a vast dormant volcano rising over 3,000 metres, has a crater of coloured cinder and is famed for its sunrises and starry skies. The beaches of Kāʻanapali and Kapalua on the west face the sunset, and Wailea and Makena on the south coast have calm golden bays.
