Itinerary
Wander through the heart of Slovakia’s capital, where medieval towers, pastel-colored buildings, and cobblestone lanes create a fairy-tale setting. Enjoy lively squares, charming cafés, and a mix of Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance architecture.
Experience the natural beauty of Slovakia’s premier mountain range, ideal for hiking, skiing, and nature photography. Crystal-clear glacial lakes, rugged peaks, and abundant wildlife make this a must-see for outdoor enthusiasts.
One of Europe’s largest castle complexes, Spiš Castle is a magnificent ruin that sits atop a hill with panoramic views. Its dramatic setting and deep historical roots make it a true icon of Slovak heritage.
This charming town, nestled in the caldera of an ancient volcano, was once a major center of silver mining. Today, it enchants visitors with its narrow alleys, historic buildings, underground tunnels, and artistic vibe.
Often called the most beautiful castle in Slovakia, Orava Castle stands dramatically on a high rock above the Orava River. It’s a perfect blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles, complete with spooky legends and cinematic history (featured in classic vampire films).
Step back in time in this living open-air museum, where colorful wooden houses and traditional rural life are beautifully preserved. It’s a rare example of authentic Central European mountain village architecture.
Perched atop a travertine hill, Bojnice Castle is one of Slovakia’s most iconic landmarks. Originally a wooden fort mentioned in records from 1113, it was transformed into a stone castle in the 13th century. In the late 19th century, Count Ján Pálffy remodeled it into the romantic neo-Gothic style seen today, inspired by French castles like the Château de Pierrefonds. The castle now houses a museum showcasing medieval artifacts, period furniture, and art collections. Its enchanting architecture and picturesque setting have made it a popular filming location for fairy-tale movies

About Bratislava
Bratislava is Slovakia's capital on the Danube, a small city of a hilltop castle, a pedestrian old town, quirky statues and vineyards close by.
Bratislava lies on both banks of the Danube close to the Austrian and Hungarian borders, about an hour from Vienna. Its castle, a white four-towered building on a ridge, looks over the river and the old town below. The pedestrian old town has pastel baroque palaces, the Michael's Gate tower, and St Martin's Cathedral, where Hungarian kings were crowned from the 16th to the 19th century, when Pozsony, as it was then known, was the Hungarian capital.
Top-ranked sights in Bratislava: Bratislava Castle (Bratislavsky Hrad), Bratislava Old Town (Stare Mesto), Slavín.
