Highlights
Morning boarding in a calm sea, with a simple welcome over coffee. From the first edges, sailing sets the pace. The lagoon, protected by the coral reef, offers a peaceful body of water, conducive to a smooth navigation between movement and observation. A first stopover allows you to discover the coral reef by snorkeling, in protected waters where coral and marine life gradually reveal themselves. Navigation continues to sheltered areas, with moments dedicated to swimming, paddling and exploring the mangrove, discreet and preserved ecosystem. Throughout the day, the experience alternates between energy and calm. Those who wish can participate in the navigation and take the helm, smoothly. About Basse-Terre Island
Basse-Terre is the western half of Guadeloupe, a mountainous island of rainforest, waterfalls and hot springs crowned by the volcano La Soufrière.
Basse-Terre is the larger and wilder wing of Guadeloupe's butterfly shape, a green island of steep ridges that catch the trade-wind rain. Much of it forms the Guadeloupe National Park, a rainforest reserve, and at its heart La Soufrière, a volcano of 1,467 metres, is the highest peak in the Lesser Antilles.
