5Great Experience
Captain Chris is excellent! He's so professional, responsive, fair, and fun. We always felt safe, and he did his best to make the experience the best it could be! We're a return customer and would book with him again.
5Awesome time
Had an amazing time with Local Legends , We went snorkeling in many different locations and saw Sea Turtles, Stingrays and hundreds of different fish. My wife isn’t experienced with snorkeling but Chris made her feel comfortable and she had an awesome time. This is are second time using local Legends and it won’t be are last. See you next year Chris and thank you.
5Unforgettable day!
Had an amazing day with Chris and Q! They put together the perfect itinerary for us to see all of the hot spots. This was my third time booking with local legend charters and will definitely be back! Would definitely recommend if you want a personalized experience and not one of the big tours to see the Virgin Islands.
45 Star..site would only allow for 4 stars
Captain Chris took us on a customized cruise to the BVI. We started in St. John and headed to The Baths on Little Virgin Gorda. The Bath has great potential , unfortunately we arrived at the same time as several tour groups so the wait line to get to the main bath was almost an hour which was nobody’s fault. The area surrounding The Bath is spectacular. Next we snorkeled the Indians which was a lovely site. Next we made our way to Beeline for a quick bite and a few drinks. Headed back to St. John after a stop at customs. The entire cruise was 7 hours. The boat was comfortable and Chris is very knowledgeable and informative on all things boating the Virgin Islands.
5Perfect Excursion in St Thomas!
Captain Chris gave us a perfect day which included snorkeling in Christmas Cove , early lunch visit to Lime Out, swim at Stunning Honeymoon Beach and a swim at deserted Scott’s Cove and a quick stop at Pizza Pi. The beaches were stunning with softest sand and the bluest water. Chris was an excellent captain and made up feel very safe! I highly recommend. And he has great merch!!
5Great day on the water, most relaxing day of our Thanksgiving weekend
This was our third time booking a trip woth Local Legend. We had the most relaxing, stress-free day with Captain Chris at the helm. We will be booking with Local Legend again.

About Cruz Bay
Cruz Bay is the small ferry town and main settlement of St John in the US Virgin Islands, the gateway to a national park of beaches, reefs and hills.
Cruz Bay sits on the west coast of St John, the smallest of the three main US Virgin Islands, with pastel buildings, shops and bars around a small harbour. Ferries link it to Red Hook on St Thomas, and the town is the gateway to Virgin Islands National Park, which covers more than half of the island. The Danish West Indies, as the islands were once called, were sold to the United States in 1917, and Danish-built walls and sugar-mill ruins survive.
