  "He had such a great experience diving with Scubaçao! I’ve joined them for a couple of PADI courses and also took part in their cleanup dives. The courses were always fun and relaxed, but I also learned a lot along the way. What I especially love is the community around the dive shop — everyone is friendly, welcoming, and really passionate about diving and protecting the ocean. It’s more than just going diving; it’s a really nice community to be part of. Highly recommend Scubaçao! 🤿💙"

• 5AMAZING SCUBA EXPERIENCE

  My wife Julie and I had an amazing scuba diving experience with JP and his beautiful wife Carolina. We dive at Tugboat Beach and Turtle Rock! The reef was very healthy. We saw drumfish, trumpetfish, trunkfish, stingray, octopus, 13 green turtles, the tugboat wreck, and giant anchor and a wharf structure. They picked us off and dropped us back off at the port. The only negative is the entry and exit in the shore dives requires a little effort to be safe.

  This is our go to shop when we visit this beautiful island. JP is absolutely the most laid back guy and makes you feel like family right out of the gate. He has an amazing staff as well. We never met anyone that didn't make you feel very welcomed. This was out second time on the island and we are already planning to go back. The first time we had Matz and second we had Jimmy. Don't forget to indulge in the Festival cookies!

• 5Top notch dive shop

  We had an awesome experience diving with Scubaçao Dive Center during our trip to Curaçao. We did three days of diving total, two days of two tank morning dives and one night dive, and everything was great from start to finish. JP, the owner, was incredibly friendly, laid back, and just an all around great guy. The pickup from the Marriott Beach Resort was right on time and made everything really convenient. We also had Flo, Diego, and Jim. The entire crew was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. The dive masters did a great job of keeping an eye on things without ever making us feel rushed or micromanaged. We were able to enjoy the dives at our own pace and actually get our full dive time, which we really appreciated. We also really liked the shore diving setup. Not having to deal with a boat made everything incredibly easy. We could get in, dive, and get back out of the water quickly, which meant more time actually enjoying the diving and less time dealing with logistics. Overall, it was exactly the kind of dive experience we were looking for. Easy, relaxed, professional, and fun. We highly recommend Scubaçao if you’re diving in Curaçao. We will definitely be using them again the next time we’re on the island!

• 5Outstanding Dive Guide and Unforgettable Experience

  I had a fantastic time on my two-tank scuba dive with Matz! It had been several years since my last dive, so I was definitely feeling a little rusty. Matz was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring. His clear explanations and calm demeanor helped me regain my confidence and enjoy every moment underwater. Our first shore dive was at Marie Pampoen Beach, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The colorful fish, beautiful coral, and marine life made for an unforgettable experience. I also booked an underwater photography session with Tia, who was wonderful to work with. She was so kind and professional, and the photos she captured were absolutely beautiful. She truly helped make the day even more special. Our second shore dive at Boka Simon Beach was also excellent, with plenty of beautiful fish and great underwater scenery to enjoy. If you're looking for a safe, enjoyable, and memorable scuba diving experience, I highly recommend diving with Matz and his team. Whether you're a beginner, returning to diving after a break, or an experienced diver, you'll be in great hands. I had an excellent time and can't wait to dive again!

About Willemstad
