Itinerary

  1. The Anse Royale Beach is located on the southeastern coast of Mahe Island, and is one of the most popular beaches. It is a long stretch of bay which consists of smaller beach sections. The water here is usually calm and ideal for swimming, snorkelling and windsurfing.

    15 min

  2. Anse Forbans is located in the south-east of Mahé, just along the coast from other beaches such as Turtle Bay and Anse aux Pins. As with all the beaches in this region, Anse Forbans benefits from an offshore coral reef which protects it from the open ocean, ensuring a calm surface to the water and a shallow depth, making it an excellent prospect for families and children.

    15 min

  3. Anse Intendance is one of the most beautiful and most popular beaches of Mahe, Seychelles. It spreads for a mile across the southern coast of the island, with absolutely stunning views of the ocean in front and the mountainous scenery in the background.

    15 min

  4. Anse Takamaka is often described using words such as ‘picturesque’, ‘stunning’, and ‘breathtaking’. Once you arrive here, it’s very easy to see why. The beautiful scenery, crystal-clear water, and gorgeous sandy surface combine to create an incredible beach location in the south-west of Mahé, the largest of the Seychelles islands.

    15 min

  5. Anse à la Mouche is a long, curved bay in the south-west of Mahé, the Seychelles largest island.

    15 min

  6. The history of this beach is really interesting; it is named after French explorer Lazare Picault, and it is also the site where some Seychelles locals once discovered some buried pirate treasure. This popular, half-moon bay offers beautiful scenery and incredible turquoise water, as well as other staples of the Seychelles, such as pristine white sand and beautiful granite boulders, all of which combine to create a stunning beach environment for your visit.

    15 min

  7. Grand Anse, as you might expect, is one of the longest beaches on Mahé, and certainly the longest on its western coast. This sprawling bay is incredibly beautiful, with excellent sand and a gorgeous turquoise ocean. The stunning contrast between the sand and sea of Grand Anse and the surrounding mountains and hills of the island’s interior make for a uniquely attractive location on Mahé.

    15 min

  8. Port Glaud Beach is a small, oft-deserted piece of sand in the west of the Seychelles’ largest island, Mahé, just along the coast from the sprawling Port Launay National Park. This area is well-known for its beauty, and Port Glaud Beach is no exception. The mixture of rocks, sea, sand, and sun make it a really pleasant place to spend a day, and the nearby facilities enable visitors to spend as long as they like here without getting bored.

    15 min

  9. One of the most beautiful beach on mahe which is very active by foreigners and locals blending together. The marine space is protected for conservation of which guest can enjoy a nice snorkeling or diving in the bay.

    15 min

  10. Anse Louis is a beautiful, sheltered bay located near to Anse Boileau on the west coast of Mahé, the Seychelles’ largest island. Also nearby is the stunning Maia Resort, which overlooks the bay itself. The incredible scenery of this bay is its real highlight. It’s easy to see why the Maia Resort chose Anse Louis as their home thanks to its beautiful cliffs and ocean surface.

  • 5Great experience

Lovely driver who took us to some beautiful beaches to watch the sunset. It probably pays to do your homework as to where you want to go and not just rely on the information provided here.

  • 3A little disappointing

We saw a lovely piece of Seychelles. But we had to tell driver where to go. No communication or suggestions. We were suppose to go for dinner. No suggestions. We eventually left the tour an hour early. Also, it was January and extremely warm. Bottled water was suppose to be included. Nothing
