Itinerary
Your mentor places an ancient spellbook in your hands and disappears into the dark. Speak his name to open it. The map page lights up for the first time. Count what is etched on the metal globe of the fountain to begin your journey.
An ancient relic is hidden in plain sight on this baroque pink facade. Find what watches over the entrance and a guardian amulet will form around your neck. Black magic cannot touch you while it glows.
Bratislava's only surviving medieval gate hides the wand movement for a seeker's spell. Trace the contours above the passage and Revelatio Aperi will write itself into your spellbook.
Draw a circle. Place your hand on your relic. Speak the missing word, and a guardian spirit rises from stone to stand at your side. The weapon resting in his hand is the word you need.
A wolf of smoke and bone steps from the shadows. Your guardian's sword passes through empty air. Look down at the bronze worker peeking from the manhole and name what rests upon his head, then strike with fire.
A potion can drive the darkness back, but two ingredients are missing from the recipe. Look closely at the carved animals around the basin. The first ingredient is hiding in plain sight.
The final ingredient hides on one of the three carved scenes around the base of this 1713 monument. Walk all the way around. Name it, brew the potion, and seal the vial for the moment that matters.
On the way up to Bratislava Castle, a witch blocks your path. Black ravens watch from her shoulders. Her power rests in those birds. Name them, and your guardian can break the spell.
The dark wizard stands before a swirling portal. Your guardian charges. You raise your amulet. You hurl the Bane of Night. One word remains to complete the banishing spell, and only the name of an old hero will finish it. Speak the name. Save the city.
