5unique experience - brilliant guide Valeria
Perhaps a bit expensive, but provided excellent private car to the winery, and the tour was incredible. We were guided by the amazing Valeria, she was entertaining and clearly knew her stuff. Afterwards, we had a great wine tasting, live music playing for each of our home countries. Truly a unique, interesting experience.

Amazing experience in Cricova winery, I was travelling by myself the only English person there, by the end of it I had 12 friends from 5 different countries including the guide, great atmosphere, super interesting, very easy

The wine was very good. The staff was very polite. It was very cold underground. Our driver was also very good.

Great trip, picked up from door. Great tour guide around the wine cellars, gave us recommendations of where to eat in Chisinau. Well worth a visit
3With a smaller group of fellow guests the visit could have been much better.
We had previously visited the Milestii Mici Winery so had previous experience with a similar state-owned underground winery. The experience at Cricova was not considered as good due to the larger number of guests per tour (48 vs 12), the itinerary (less time talking with the guide and quiet inspection of storage vaults) and a much noisier tasting experience (more basic food pairings, poorer quality wines and no musical accompaniment by a violinist and accordionist). My wife and I had to wait for 10 minutes for a seating at the enormous table while two chairs and place settings were found for us (apparently due to an overbooking mistake by the winery). All in all a somewhat disappointing experience. The transportation to and from the winery was very good.
