Itinerary
Start in the Old Town Square, the heart of Prague. Admire the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn and the elegant St. Nicholas Church, while your guide brings centuries of royal history and public events to life. Pause by the Astronomical Clock, one of Europe’s treasures, to learn about its symbolism and legendary figures.
Walk through the lively streets to reach the Charles Bridge, Prague’s most iconic landmark. As you cross this 14th-century bridge lined with statues, your guide will share stories about its construction, myths, and role in Prague’s history. Enjoy fantastic photo opportunities of the river, Old Town, and Prague Castle rising ahead.
Cross into the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and ascend to the castle district. This gentle uphill walk (or optional short tram ride if arranged in advance) takes you to the gates of Prague Castle. Explore the exterior courtyards of Prague Castle, the largest castle complex in the world. Your guide will highlight the St. Vitus Cathedral (exterior), the Old Royal Palace, and the sweeping views over the city. Hear stories of kings, emperors, and presidents who shaped Czech history from this hilltop fortress.
If time allows, walk down through charming streets of the Lesser Town, with its colorful Baroque houses, hidden gardens, and local cafés. Your tour concludes at Prague Castle or back in the Old Town, depending on your schedule. Your guide will provide tips on how to continue exploring – whether entering the castle interiors, visiting museums, or enjoying a traditional Czech meal nearby.

About Prague
Prague's skyline of spires rises over the Vltava, with a hilltop castle, statue-lined bridge and a medieval old town that survived largely intact.
Prague Castle, one of the largest castle complexes anywhere, crowns the hill of Hradčany, with St Vitus Cathedral at its centre and the tiny houses of Golden Lane tucked behind. Below, the Lesser Town's Baroque palaces and terraced gardens lead down to the Charles Bridge, lined with statues of saints and busy from dawn.
Top-ranked sights in Prague: Charles Bridge (Karluv Most), Prague Castle (Pražský Hrad), Prague Old Town Square (Staromestské Námestí).
