Dračevac Zadarski is a hilltop at the periphery of the city witnessing centuries of various campaigns aiming to conquer Zadar. About Zadar
Zadar, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast, is an old Roman and Venetian town on a peninsula, known for its sea organ and the sunsets beside it.
The old town of Zadar sits on a narrow peninsula, bordered by Venetian walls and the Land Gate. The remains of a Roman forum lie beside the round church of St Donatus, a ninth-century building that is the best-known landmark. Kalelarga, the main pedestrian street, follows the line of the Roman main street, with shops and cafés, and the cathedral of St Anastasia stands nearby.
