This walking tour will take you through amazing neighbourhoods, iconic streets, sacred places, beautiful squares, historic monuments and markets. You will experience a different site of Cusco that you might wouldnt have known on your own.
We'll begin the walking city tour of Cusco at the neighbourhood of San Blas, which is the bohemian part of Cusco. The neighbourhood is located on a mountain hill, and while walking up and down its charming streets you will see its small handicraft shops, cafés and art galleries. There is also a beautiful view point, where you can see the historical center of Cusco from above.
This site was at the Inca times a religious site and an old colonial aqueduct. Listen to the tales of the guide while relaxing to the sound of the water from the aqueduct.
The most beautiful and picturesque street of Cusco, with its colonial architecture, stone stairs and its potted plants everywhere on the floor and the walls.
This inca stone os located on one most iconic streets of Cusco. The stone is a symbol of the amazing architecture skills that the Incas possesed and is situated on an old Inca palace. Take a photo with a dressed up Inca king and visit its many souvenir shops on the street.
Plaza de Armas is the main square of Cusco. The place was an administrative, religious and cultural center of the imperial capital. Here the Incas held ceremonies and celebrated victories. Centuries ago famous peruvian national heroes were excecuted on the square by the spaniards, which later became an iconic moment of peruvian history.
This beautiful square is surrounded by amazing colonial architecture such as the Palace of Cabildo, which is now used as a municipality, the old city hotel, the museum of Garcilaso de la Vega and the house of Illán Suárez de Carbajal, who was an old conquistador.
The square was and still is an important public space, which was formed by the old viceroy of Peru. Here lies the beautiful San Francisco church, its monastery and the oldest school of Cusco.
This monument is a triumphal arch and was created in commemoration of the beginning of the establishment of the Peru-Bolivian Confederation.
At last, the tour will go to the local market of San Pedro where you will learn more about the agriculture and the natural products of the Andes and Perú. After your visit, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
