Along this route we will travel the recesses of this curious ship, which for decades supplied fresh water to the liners that called in Vigo, while we know its history and that of the port that serves as home. On the Rúa da Pescadería, women known as the ostreiras sell fresh oysters from stalls. Monte O Castro, a hilltop park with the remains of a fortress, looks over the city and the ría.
