A general sightseeing tour for young public we don't give you long boring lectures. For large groups we can use loudspeakers or break the group in half. We can recommend you non-expensive eateries with local Hungarian food and other friendly priced activities. We can also give you tips on party places for the night.
We will cross the river Danube and walk uphills (or optionally take the public bus) to the Castle of Buda where we will explore the panoramic terrace of the Royal Palace with the most beautiful view of the city.
Then we will move from the castle of Buda to the palace of the president with the guards in historical uniforms.
See a beautiful fountain made in the 19th century.
As a next stop on the tour you will have the chance to admire one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in Budapest, the Fishermen's Bastion with the famous panorama over the river Danube and the Hungarian Parliament building.
We will walk around the beautiful Matthias Church built in the Middle Ages in Gothic style.
The iconic bridge s under renovation currently (from 2021 to 2022), so instead of walking on it we will need to use the public transport to get to the castle of Buda.
We can finish the tour in Pest Downtown in front of Saint Stephen's Basilica built for the memory of the first Hungarian king (died in 1038). You will have a chance to visit the church inside on your own after the tour.
As an option you can take a 1 hour long extra trip to Heroes Square and the City Park. We can get there with the historical Millennium Subway (Budapest Metro line 1, built in 1896) which runs under Andrassy Avenue. Heroes' Square is the largest square in Budapest. In the middle of it you will find the Millennium Monument, while on its two sides you will see the Arts Hall and the Fine Arts Museum. Explore Budapest City Park, the oldest public park in the world. Walk over a bridge to reach an island on the lake, home to the romantic Vajdahunyad Castle. It is a complex of copies of historical buildings representing different periods and styles of Hungarian architecture. In the inner courtyard you will find the statue of Anonymus, the first history writer of Hungary who lived in the 12th century. After that you will pass by the famous Szechenyi Baths, the largest thermal bath of Europe. Through the windows you will be able to see the outdoor pools and people swimming in the warm water.

Top-ranked sights in Budapest: House of Parliament (Országház), Buda Castle (Budai Vár), Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lanchid) .
