5Excellent pizza & pasta making class
My husband and I participated in this activity while on a cruise that ported in Messina. It was a little tricky getting to the town of Taormina (train + bus ride) but we made it just in time for the start of the class! We were glad we did though because it was a very memorable experience. Good value for the money. Our instructor was very hands on, interactive, and entertaining. We had the opportunity to make both pizza and pasta and we were able to enjoy both of these dishes. The staff provided complimentary red and white wine, cheese, bread, limoncello, and a cannoli at the end of the meal. The staff even catered to another person in the group that had lactose intolerance. They encouraged cleanliness with frequent hand washing during the class which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend this to others!
5Great experience in Taormina
I did the pizza making class with my teenage daughters after doing the cannoli class the day before. We all LOVED it. Paulo and the other chef, can’t remember his name, were great teachers and made the class enjoyable and entertaining. We made both pasta and pizza. This was a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Sicily and our meal was the best we had on the whole trip. It felt like getting together with family! Definitely a must do if you enjoy cooking.
5We had a lot of fun....
We had a lot of fun. Plenty of food and wine along with the experience of cooking pasta and pizza. My pizza was great!

5We all had a wonderful...
We all had a wonderful time! The chefs were knowledgeable, funny and engaging! Stories were told and craft was taught. We had a great time making. Pasta and pizza. Drinks of wine and water were included. Along with cannoli's for dessert!
5Great activity while in Taormina
Had the best time doing this as my first cooking class! It was a smaller group about 7 of us and I loved having the experience in the restaurant among diners. It made it more fun! Pizza and pasta were excellent. Compared to other cooking classes that can be double the price, I thought this was a great value.
Taormina is a hilltop town on Sicily's east coast, with an ancient Greek theatre facing Mount Etna, a main street of palazzi and sea views over the Ionian.
Taormina clings to the slopes of Monte Tauro, about 200 metres above the Ionian Sea, with Mount Etna smoking to the south-west. Its ancient theatre, begun by the Greeks in the 3rd century BC and later rebuilt by the Romans, still hosts concerts and performances, and from the upper rows Etna and the coast fill the view. The main street, Corso Umberto, runs between two town gates, past churches, palazzi and small shops, to Piazza IX Aprile, a terrace over the sea.
Top-ranked sights in Taormina: Isola Bella, Corso Umberto I, Taormina Piazza Duomo.
