Step into the world of Samurai in Tokyo. Discover samurai culture and the true story of Japan's legendary 47 Ronin. Your journey begins at Sengakuji Temple. Offer incense at the graves of all 47 Ronin. Experience simple Sutra Copying by tracing Japanese characters with a brush pen as a symbol of your visit. Receive a Goshuin (temple seal). Finally, your guide will ask you, "If you had been one of the 47 Ronin, what would you have done?" Then travel by subway to Tokyo Tower. Visit the Ninja House. Handle authentic Japanese swords and ninja throwing stars (shuriken). Take photos while holding a Japanese sword. If you would like to take a photo with a ninja, please let us know in advance. A reservation is required (free of charge). The tour ends in Tokyo Tower's shopping and dining area. After that, you're free to enjoy the view or explore the tower's Japanese-style shops and attractions at your own pace.

Itinerario

  1. Together with your guide, you will visit Sengakuji Temple, the final resting place of the 47 Ronin. After learning the story of loyalty, honor, and sacrifice that made them legendary throughout Japan, you will offer incense at their graves. You will also take part in a simple sutra-copying experience (using a brush pen to carefully trace Japanese characters while reflecting on your personal wish or prayer), dedicate your completed work to the temple, and receive a Goshuin (traditional temple stamp) as a meaningful reminder of your visit. Before the tour concludes, your guide will ask for your personal thoughts: “What would you have done?”

  2. ou will travel by subway to Tokyo Tower. Your first stop is the Ninja House, where you can take photos with a ninja and even handle real Japanese swords and ninja throwing stars (shuriken). Afterward, enjoy free time to explore Tokyo Tower at your own pace. The guided tour ends here, and you are welcome to continue exploring on your own.
