It is a sacred mountain where nature, history, and spirituality come together. As we trek through the mountain, surrounded by more than 1,600 species of plants, we will discover the fascinating history of Japanese mountain worship and Esoteric Buddhism, traditions that have been deeply rooted in Mt. Takao for centuries. Your trek will be led by a JMGA-certified trekking guide and UIMLA International Mountain Leader, who will help you experience not only the natural beauty of Mt. Takao but also its rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
