Destacados

Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

Itinerario

  1. Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

  • 5Awesome tour!

So incredible, the tour guide was so helpful, helped me take awesome pictures and had lots of facts about the canyon. So gorgeous, going around 12-2pm (middle of the day) is the best time. So worth the money!

Beautiful tour. Be sure you can climb the ladders and take you phone for lots of pictures. Friendly staff. Would suggest the guide face the tourist when talking.

  • 5Must do tour

Wow, this tour far exceeded our expectations. The pictures we took with our cell phones turned out great Small group of 15. Very organized check in. Our guide, Jo, did not rush us, offered interesting facts and so willing to take our pictures. This tour includes climbing quite a few ladders and navigating narrow spaces. The only con was the tour company changed our time to a bit later. They never returned my call inquiring what was going on. But, it worked out because we arrived early and the front desk offered the earlier tour we originally signed up for. Confusing!

  • 5there are some tight...

Beautiful unique space, good, knowledgeable tour guide who took pics of us. Would definitely recommend it to those fit enough My female traveling companion in her early 70's, with some mobility issues and not real fit didn't have any problems. We didn't feel hurried or rushed. As advertised, there are some tight spaces that might be difficult if you are obese. You need to be able to use small almost vertical steps, less than dozen in each space ,and only a few spaces. You will need to go both up and down on these steps which are mostly at the canyon entrance. This experience might be difficult for someone with claustrophobia.

  • 5Breathtaking

Guide was great and engaging. The views in the canyon defy words and we had plenty of time to take fantastic photos. I would recommend booking this directly with operator and not viator. The viator info is incomplete.

  • 5Jordan with the flute :)

Jordan was an excellent tour guide and gave us in-depth explanations about the history of the canyon. He also showed us the best spots to take pictures. The best part was when he played his flute in the cavern with the beautiful acoustics. Would definitely recommend.

About Page

Page, in northern Arizona, is a small town on Lake Powell, the base for Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and the red cliffs of the Colorado Plateau.

Page sits on a sandstone mesa above the Colorado River in northern Arizona, close to the Utah border. It was founded in 1957 as a camp for the builders of Glen Canyon Dam, whose concrete arch holds back Lake Powell, a long reservoir of blue water winding through red canyons. The lake and its branching side canyons are used for boating and houseboats, and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area protects the shoreline.

Top-ranked sights in Page: Antelope Canyon, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument.
