Discover the excitement of kitesurfing with a private lesson designed especially for complete beginners. At 24Kiteboard Kitesurf School, you'll learn the essential foundations in a safe, structured and enjoyable environment, guided by experienced IKO-certified instructors. Your lesson begins with understanding the wind, learning how to set up the equipment correctly, and becoming familiar with the safety systems before flying the kite. Once you're comfortable, you'll practise controlling the kite on land and, depending on the conditions and your progress, begin your first exercises in shallow water. Using premium Cabrinha and Core equipment, you'll build confidence step by step while developing the skills that form the foundation of every kitesurfer. About Almada

Almada sits on the south bank of the Tagus opposite Lisbon, with a giant statue of Christ, a ferry quay with fish restaurants and Atlantic beaches.

Almada lies on the south bank of the Tagus, facing Lisbon across the river, and is best known for the Cristo Rei, a 110-metre statue of Christ with open arms, completed in 1959. A lift takes visitors up to a viewing platform on its pedestal, from which Lisbon and the 25 de Abril Bridge spread out below. Almada Velha, the old quarter on the ridge above, has narrow streets and viewpoints over the river.
