2. Phra Nakhon Khiri (Thai: อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พระนครคีรี) is a historical park in Phetchaburi, Thailand on a hill overlooking the city. The name Phra Nakhon Khiri means 'holy city hill', but locals know it better as Khao Wang, meaning 'hill with palace'.

3. 1000 Sook is a great place to come and have a good meal at a cheap price and have a nice few hours in a rural setting. If you dine in the restaurant or purchase goods at the grocers at 1000 Sook you receive a free entrance to the farm. The country style restaurant serves Thai and Western food and some pretty delicious desserts. The farm’s mini market sells Thai snacks from all over Thailand at very affordable rates, some say much cheaper than markets in Hua Hin. Baan Sillapin Artists Village is Hua Hin’s original arts centre and includes large galleries of arts and antiques, artist studios, a coffee and gift shop, and classrooms for their very-popular classes in painting and sculpture. It is well known as Baan Sillapin and is a frequent host of special exhibitions and performance events.

5. It has become a so-called travelling tradition for Hua Hin visitors to enjoy the sea and other outdoor activities by day and roam Hua Hin night market by night. The walking street of Hua Hin Night Market is closed entirely to traffic and becomes the focal point for vending stalls, particularly consumer goods and souvenirs. Therefore, when taking a stroll through the night market and shopping some small gifts, visitors can scent the tantalizing aroma of grilled seafood.

About Hua Hin

Hua Hin is an old Thai seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand, with a royal past, a night market, fishing piers and long beaches.

Hua Hin is a seaside town in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, on the west side of the Gulf of Thailand about 200 kilometres south of Bangkok. Thai royalty began building seaside palaces here in the 1920s, which gave the town its first fame as a resort, and Klai Kangwon Palace still stands nearby. The railway station, a Thai-style wooden building, dates from that era, and a fishing pier runs out beside the main beach.
