About Ibiza
Ibiza is a Balearic island of pine-covered hills, a walled old town, quiet coves and white villages, as well as a long-standing club scene.
Ibiza Town's old quarter, Dalt Vila, climbs inside a ring of Renaissance walls and is listed by UNESCO, with a hilltop cathedral and lanes of whitewashed houses. The harbour below holds the fishermen's quarter of Sa Penya and the marina. Founded by Phoenician settlers, the island has long been a stopover for sailors, and the hippy colony of the 1960s still shapes its market and craft culture.
