Also the interesting history of this unique dish will be told: in the late 1800s, Raffaele Esposito was called to make a pizza for the visit of King Umberto and Queen Margherita of Italy. During this taste test, Queen Margherita liked the pizza garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil, to represent the national colours of Italy as on the Flag of Italy.
