  My husband and I had a wonderful day exploring the beautiful island of Terceira with Paulo. The food was delicious, the sights were amazing and Paulo gave us a wealth of information. Highly recommend this tour.

  Really good full day tour of Terceira with Paulo, taking in numerous breathtaking viewpoints, a fine lunch, a coffee farm and some great ice cream.

• 5True cultural experience

  Our guide for the day Paolo met us at our hotel right at 930am. We drove all over the island. East. West. North and middle of the island. We had many stops: coffee plantation. Cheese factory. Wine and ice cream and had lunch , The Alcatra, the main local dish at a fantastic restaurant. The tour was comprehensive with island history. Amazing view points and much more. We returned around 630pm and a full day. Highly recommend!!!

  The full day van tour with food was excellent! Paolo, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the island and kept us entertained throughout the entire day.  The different food stops were well chosen.  We loved every one of them.  Lunch was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this tour.

About Terceira

Terceira is a volcanic island in the Azores, with the World Heritage town of Angra do Heroísmo, a lava-tube cave and fields bounded by stone walls.

Terceira lies in the central group of the Azores, an island of green pasture divided by black basalt walls. Angra do Heroísmo, the main town on the south coast, was once an important Atlantic port, and its old centre of pastel houses and churches is a UNESCO site. A fortress crowns Monte Brasil, the volcanic peninsula at its edge. Praia da Vitória, on the east coast, has the island's main sandy beach.
