Florence Wine Window Private Tour

Step back into Renaissance Florence with our Florence Wine Window Tour, a walk that combines history, architecture, and the city’s world-famous wine culture. This tour takes you to Florence’s buchette del vino — “wine windows” that reveal centuries-old secrets about Florentine life and commerce. Perfect for history buffs and wine enthusiasts alike, this immersive experience will have you tasting the past in every sip! Explore Florence’s charming neighborhoods, where small arched windows line the walls of ancient buildings. Learn how these tiny openings, created by noble families, were used to sell wine directly to the public. Your guide will reveal the fascinating history of these windows, from their origins to their role in modern-day Florence. In the meantime, you’ll taste an array of local wines from Tuscany’s premier regions—Chianti, Super Tuscans, and more—served at select wine windows along the way, but not only! Each stop includes tastings paired with Tuscan specialties.
