The Rainbow Mountain Tour Full Day, experience the most amazing colors of the Andes Mountains, explore in a full day hike to the most spectacular Vinicunca – Peru. Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain, became one of Cusco’s most popular day tours, where you get to see; yellow, red, ochre, white and turquoise mineral stripes in the mountain lend it wow appeal. From the Cusipata – Pampachiri approach, the 10km round-trip is gentle in grade, reaching a hillside viewpoint facing the mountain. From the top, you have 360-degree views include nearby Ausangate (6384m), the highest mountain in southern Peru. Since the high altitude (reaching above 5000m) takes its toll, try to ascend slowly to conquer the summit of Rainbow hills of Peru. Rainbow Mountain Peru, however, has breathtaking views easily allow you to forget about the 2 hour struggle you leave behind. The Ausangate glacier on one side and bizarre, colourful peaks on the other.
The pick up at 5:00 am by van, then drive to Hanchi Pacha – Pitumarca village by van for three hours, where you have a nice Organic breakfast, then we start hiking all the way up for two and half hours to the top of Rainbow Mountain at 5036 m.a.s.l. Along the hike, you get to see Llamas, Alpacas, local Quechua people, and the most spectacular colorful rocky mountains. After enjoying the top of Vinicunca, we have a downhill hike for 1 hour in order to have lunch, then we will get back by bus to Cusco.
Starting your trip in the morning with a hotel pick-up, we will then drive through Peru’s rugged mountain landscape. Our first stop is a small village where we will stop for breakfast. Also is the place for lunch in the afternoon after conquering the Rainbow Mountain tour.
The Plaza Regocijo or "Cusipata" is the spot where we will finish our tour, and is located only 1 block away from the main square or Plaza de Armas.

Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
