5Worth doing
Great tour guide, very interesting collections and excellent description of how things are made. Fascinating.
5Excellent
Fantastic. Fascinating, with wonderful, cheery guide. Lots of info and the chance to see what we could do with crumpled aluminium foil! I’m keen to try out some sculpting mediums.
4Enjoyed your bus and...
Enjoyed your bus and workshop. Tour guide James was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and interesting. You should not have minimum no of words
5An insight to Creative NZ'ers
Perfect timing for pick up ready to find. Friendly guide, knowledgeable & a bit of an actor himself[entertaining]. The tour guide at Weta Workshop was 2nd to none, Taylor- thank you for a fabulous experience. Magic memories.
5Great little tour with enthusiastic staff
Such a great experience! Our guide was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable and took time to look around the exhibits. The bus driver gave us a great little tour around Wellington too. Would’ve been good to be able to take some more photos (wasn’t allowed in most areas) but to be honest - the memories are in our heads!
5Fabulous experience
From the wonderful driver who kept us entertained on the journey to the fantastic guide and the marvellous displays, it was huge value for money. Would highly recommend it to everyone
Wellington is New Zealand's capital, a compact harbour city of steep hills, a waterfront museum, a cable car and a famously strong wind.
Wellington wraps around a deep harbour at the southern tip of the North Island, with hills rising steeply behind the waterfront and Cook Strait beyond the heads. It is the seat of government, and the Beehive, the executive wing of Parliament, stands among the other parliamentary buildings. Te Papa Tongarewa, the national museum, sits on the waterfront. The wind is a local legend.
Top-ranked sights in Wellington: Mt. Victoria Lookout, Wellington Cable Car, Te Papa (Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa).
