Hoogtepunten

This is a great safari that takes you to visit the southern parks of Tanzania. The Rufiji river offers boating safaris and also walking the area, while the remoteness of Ruaha gives you the perfect impression of a real Tanzania safari in Africa savanna and Mufindi offering a relaxation enjoyment in a cool climate and stunning scenery. Selous game reserve, Mikumi national park, Udzungwa, and Ruaha national park have accessible roads and flights which makes it very easy to arrange safari of any duration in these parks and also to combine them with the beach a beach element either the mainland coast of Zanzibar. The southern lodge and camps of good value for money compared to the northern parks lodge/camps.

About Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's largest city and main port, a hot Swahili-coast city of markets, museums, beaches and ferries to Zanzibar.

Dar es Salaam, whose name comes from the Arabic for 'haven of peace', grew around a harbour on the Indian Ocean in the nineteenth century and is the commercial centre of Tanzania. Its waterfront has the Kivukoni fish market, where boats unload at dawn, and the colonial-era buildings of the centre include St Joseph's Cathedral, a Gothic church with a tall spire, and the Azania Front Lutheran Church.
