1. Your tour will begin with pickup from your Sonoma area hotel. Depending on where you are staying will define the tour region that you will be visiting. If your accommodations are outside of the winery region, you can arrange to meet us a general meeting spot. You’ll visit three charming, backroads wineries and be served a picnic lunch in an idyllic winery setting. Your tour guide will tell fascinating stories and share many interesting tidbits about local history, culture and wine making. This is not a smarmy or touristy activity. Our specialty is intimate, light-hearted and truly memorable. This tour is sure to entertain with a very approachable and easy-going style. Discover and savor new experiences tasting some of the world’s most celebrated wines. Our typical guest is not necessarily a wine expert but keen to learn a bit about wine and wine-making, and is open to sharing the experience with a few other like-minded wine adventurers.

  Army was awesome! I would recommend asking what wineries you are going to. We enjoyed the presentation at Ty Caton but the other two wineries were not as special. Paul had an outstanding presentation. Totally different with Peter Sellers winery. Not much time for picnic lunch. Larson....we had hard time hearing from presenter as there was a festival going on. We thought the other 2 wineries would be more like Ty Caton.

• 5A Truly Unforgettable Day!

  I would recommend this tour to everybody! We had the most amazing time. Our tour guide/driver was James and he was outstanding! He chose 3 beautiful wineries for us to visit...each one had beautiful scenery and great wines. A delicious lunch was provided at one of the wineries with a picturesque view. The whole day was relaxing and fun. James shared so much information about the area and the wineries. For a first time visitor to Sonoma, this tour surpassed our expectations.

• 5First time in Sonoma

  My husband and I visited Sonoma for the first time and wanted to do wine tasting without driving ourselves. This was perfect. The three wineries we went to were great and the group on the tour bus was a lot of fun. Our driver, Tony, was fun and informative. Ty Caton Winery was our favorite. Paul at the winery made the Ty Caton Winery extra special.

About Napa & Sonoma

Napa and Sonoma are California's best-known wine valleys north of San Francisco, a landscape of vineyards, oak hills, small towns and tasting rooms.

Napa Valley is a narrow valley about fifty kilometres long, running north from the town of Napa through Yountville, St Helena and Calistoga, with vineyards on the valley floor and hills on either side. Sonoma Valley lies to the west, over the Mayacamas range, with the historic Sonoma Plaza, a Spanish mission and the village of Glen Ellen.
