Cape Canaveral is the Florida Space Coast's launch headland, with a cruise port, Atlantic beaches and the Kennedy Space Center to the north.

Port Canaveral is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world, and to the north, on Merritt Island, the Kennedy Space Center has launch pads, a visitor complex and exhibits on the Apollo and Space Shuttle programmes.
