The dark church is especially worth seeing since it has the most well-preserved frescoes in Cappadocia

3. Fairy Chimneys - (Monk's Valley) Hosts one of the most beautiful mushroom headed rock formations for taking a lot of beautiful pictures with your family and friends

4. Avanos is the shining star of cappadocia with a lot of culturel activities and also with it's beautiful wonders. At avanos we have a river called red river and this river goes all around turkey and flows to the black see. Avanos is also famous with pottery making so when we reached there there will be some expert people about pottery making so we will visit them and first they will give you some information and then they will show you how to make a pottery and then they will let you try.

5. Devrent Valley also known as imagination valley. This one will be a little different then the rest of the itinerary because there wont be any cultural information here.... There are some different shaped rock formations looking like various objects (Camel,Penguin,Etc.) So your guide will show you these objects and expect you to see them but remmember this place is called imagination valley so you need a good imagination to see them.

About Göreme

Göreme ligt in het hart van Cappadocië, een surrealistisch landschap van schoorsteenrotsen, grotkerken en ochtendluchten vol heteluchtballonnen.

De huizen en hotels van Göreme zijn uitgehouwen in zacht vulkanisch gesteente, en het stadje wordt omringd door valleien met kegelvormige schoorsteenrotsen die door erosie zijn gevormd. Het Openluchtmuseum van Göreme verzamelt in de rotsen uitgehouwen kloosters en kerken waarvan de fresco's, geschilderd door Byzantijnse monniken, nog steeds van kleur gloeien, vooral in de Donkere Kerk.
