Enter a different era and discover what Pompeii was like before the eruption of Vesuvius through augmented reality. Meet the Tour Assistant to learn the itinerary and easily find out how to use the glasses. All routes and reconstructions have been developed by a team of archaeologists and experts to show you how life was in Pompeii before the eruption. Your Tour Assistant will accompany and assist you throughout the tour. The glasses create holograms superimposed on the existing ruins, and show you what the most significant temples, houses, squares, theaters and buildings looked like before the eruption of 79 AD. • Once the tour is over and the augmented reality glasses are returned, it is possible to stay in the archaeological park and explore the site independently.
• The tour will take place regardless of weather conditions, so it is advisable to dress appropriately.
• This is a walking tour, make sure you have comfortable shoes.
• Children under 8 years of age can enter the park with a standard ticket, but cannot use the 3D technology.
• Arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
• Participants who wear prescription glasses can also comfortably use the augmented reality (AR) glasses.
