Kilimanjaro 360 - Over 6 days of cycling you will experience some of Tanzania’s most beautiful landscapes, vibrant villages and wonderful cultures. From the Maasai people who inhabit the arid western plains of Kilimanjaro to the Chagga people who inhabit the foothills of the mountain you will get to discover, experience and learn about these wonderful cultures first hand. While on your journey you will traverse vast open grasslands rich in wildlife, lush green forests, farmlands, villages and towns. About Moshi
Moshi is een vriendelijk marktstadje op de lagere hellingen van de Kilimanjaro, de belangrijkste uitvalsbasis om de hoogste berg van Afrika te beklimmen.
De besneeuwde top van de Kilimanjaro torent op heldere ochtenden boven de stad uit, en Moshi is waar de meeste klimmers zich voorbereiden en later feestvieren. Routes als Marangu en Machame beginnen bij parkpoorten op korte rijafstand, terwijl Lemosho aan de verre westkant van de berg begint en door landbouwgrond, regenwoud, heide en alpiene woestijn naar de gletsjers bij Uhuru Peak klimt.
