1. Batterfly valley is a natural reserve. It is regarded as an oasis due to its consistent access to water from a natural spring. This uninterrupted flow of water has led to an overgrowth of vegetation, which includes cypress trees that have stood for more than 500 years, as well as ancient olive trees, fig trees, and pine trees.

2. The talest point on Paros. It offers some trully unique and magnificent views. Not only is it the tallest point, but due to the way Paros was formed, there are no other tall hills blocking the view from here. On a clear day you can see a dozen or more islands on the horizon.

4. The Church of Agia Triada in Lefkes Paros: Located in the mountainous village of Lefkes, the Church of Agia Triada is a Byzantine temple of unique architectural importance. Dedicated to the Holy Trinity, the church is the second most imposing on the island and was initially established on the previous location of three smaller churches.

About Paros

Paros is a Cycladic island of white villages, marble quarries and sandy bays, with the harbour town of Parikia and the fishing port of Naoussa.

Parikia, the port and capital, has a Venetian kastro built from blocks of ancient marble and the Panagia Ekatontapiliani, the Church of a Hundred Doors, said to date from the fourth century. Naoussa, on the north coast, is a fishing harbour with a small Venetian fort at the water's edge and tavernas along the quay. Sculptors in antiquity prized the island's marble, known as Parian marble.
