1. Egypt is, when distilled down to its essence, the pyramids! The pyramids is what almost anybody pictures in their head when Egypt is mentioned. This is the only remaining one of the seven wonders that is considered mainly left intact. We will be visiting the pyramids of Giza. We will have different stops to see the pyramids from different view points. Another stop would be where we can come closer to the biggest pyramid and go inside small pyramid and then we drive to sphinx.

About Gizeh

Gizeh, aan de rand van Caïro, herbergt de Grote Piramide, de Sfinx en een woestijnplateau dat al duizenden jaren reizigers aantrekt.

Op het plateau staan drie grote piramiden, gebouwd voor de farao's Choefoe, Chefren en Menkaoere, samen met kleinere koninginnenpiramiden en rijen graven van edelen. De Grote Piramide van Choefoe is het laatste nog bestaande van de Zeven Wereldwonderen van de Oudheid, en de Grote Sfinx waakt eronder, uitgehouwen uit de rotsbodem naast de dal-tempel van Chefren.
