Hoogtepunten

Enjoy your handmade meal with a tasting of Poggio ai Laghi wines, set in a working vineyard and traditional kitchen. As your lasagna bakes, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of wines, and our wine expert will teach you the basic information for a wine tasting and will explain how wine permeates the culture of this territory. Once the meal is ready, sit down for a relaxed lunch or dinner overlooking the vineyard, and enjoy your freshly made lasagna alongside wine pairings. A light Tiramisu dessert can complete the experience. This is more than just a simple cooking class; it’s an experience that engages all your senses, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for the art of winemaking and the Tuscan cuisine. Whether you're a foodie, a wine lover, or a curious traveler, this class is a flavorful journey into Tuscan tradition.

About Siena

Siena is a medieval Tuscan hill city of red-brown brick, known for its shell-shaped main square, its striped cathedral and the twice-yearly Palio.

Siena was Florence's great rival in the Middle Ages, and its historic centre, a UNESCO site, still looks much as it did then. Il Campo, the shell-shaped square, slopes down to the Palazzo Pubblico and its slender tower, the Torre del Mangia. The cathedral, striped in white and dark green marble, has a pavement of inlaid scenes and a library of painted manuscripts.

Top-ranked sights in Siena: Piazza del Campo, Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), Mangia Tower (Torre del Mangia).
