Walk or take a funicular (at own cost) up to South Africa's 3rd oldest lighthouse for a 360 degree view of the national park. The old lighthouse was launched in 1860 only to be decommssioned 40 years and dozens of shipwrecks too late after studies proved that its high altitude posed a great danger to sailors around the cape as they couldn't be able to see it in cloudy weather conditions. A new lighthouse was since built at a much lower altitude.
At the Southern end of the Chapman's peak drive is a Noordhoek farm village. The whitewashed and the thatch buildings operate as shops trading as raw juice shops, coffee shops, bakery, restaurants hand made crafts shop and clothing stores. A short stop to indulge in some of these will be offered to you.

Top-ranked sights in Kaapstad: Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak Drive.
