Today, it stands out as one of the highlights of the Transcarioca Trail, in the section that crosses the Serra da Carioca Sector within Tijuca National Park. Along the route, visitors will not only encounter waterfalls and natural pools but also remnants of old stone paving and ruins that reveal centuries of human presence in the region.
