  • 5Overall experience

Expensive trip- when adding the park fee on top. Sunset was amazing view- with great walk with good information although watch out for flies - a head net is advisable

  • 5Great tour, guide and magical sunset spot

Booking, payment, and actual tour went smoothly. Our guide, Annie is good and took care of us. I love that she nicely informed participants from our tour groups not to climb the rock when she saw them. There was only 6 others apart from our group of 9 at the sunset spot. To be able to see Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa side by side as the sun sets is magical! Love it and would recommend.

  • 5Happy experience!

On 30 July we went on the tour with Alex and Joseph; they’re fantastic professionals. Alex, I wish you very success in your exam, you will pass 100% sure, your enthusiasm en clarity of your voice and english, for me was very clear. Joseph, you have a very good knowledge of the whole area, and you gave Alex some really good support, without coming across as annoying. Congratulations to you both. Marianela

  • 5Uluru walking tour

A wonderful experience with Annie. We had only 8 in our small group, which made the trip more relaxed. Light refreshments were a welcome treat after all the light walking we did. Highly recommend!

  • 5If you only do one tour, do this one.

We’ve been on some fantastic tours over the last week in both Cairns and Uluru but nothing has bettered this small group tour run by Seit tours. On this tour you get up close to Uluru itself. Forget the tourist view shot of Uluru, go and feel it, touch it, learn about it and experience the magic of it on this tour. Our tour was with just 8 other people, making for a friendly group. Can’t speak too highly of our tour guide for the afternoon - Lucy, so knowledgeable and approachable who clearly has a deep respect and love for Uluru, its traditions and people. The tour included 2 short guided walks and a drive around the base of Uluru, finishing with a sunset viewing whilst we drank wine and had a few snacks. If you only do one tour during your stay at Uluru, do this one.

About Uluru

Uluru is a huge red sandstone monolith in the desert of Australia's Northern Territory, sacred to the Anangu and the centrepiece of a World Heritage park.

Uluru rises 348 metres above the flat red plain of Australia's Red Centre, and a walk of about 10 km circles its base, passing waterholes, rock art and cliffs fluted by wind and rain. It is sacred to the Anangu, the traditional owners, who share its stories at the cultural centre in the park. The park is listed as a World Heritage site for both its natural and its cultural value.
