Immerse yourself deep into the rainforest by taking a trip on our world-renowned wildlife experience cruise. During your 60 – 90 minute journey, you will slowly glide along the Daintree River while one of our local guides shares their knowledge about the unique tropical ecosystem. Along the way, you will also have the chance to see native wildlife such as Estuarine Crocodiles in their natural habitat. We want every guest that visits with us to leave loving the river as much as we do. While we can’t guarantee what wildlife you’ll see, each cruise provides a unique experience. 5Daintree river crocodile cruise
Took a cruise with these guys this morning and it was an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Saw lots of crocodiles and our guide Stef was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. He also steered the boat around at each crocodile so everyone on board got to see the crocs and take photos. Definitely recommend
5Very knowledgable guide
The tour guide was very knowledgable! I loved listening to him. We saw crocs abd a kingfisher and a treesnake. The reception is lovely, with tee and krackers. The employees were so nice.
5THERE'S MORE TO AN ECOSYSTEM THAN CROCS
We've been visiting the Daintree for nearly 40 years and always join a tour with Daintree River Cruises. Our family, and the friends we take along, all love it. We remember the company's founder, Lee, with great fondness - what an excellent and passionate guide he was. Kianna is keeping things just as they were - low key and respectful of the river ecosystem - which is lovely. The guides are knowledgable and tuned into all the wldlife, not just the crocs. Highly recommended.
5A Great Tour
Our first cruise on the Daintree river despite having many holidays in Port Douglas over the years. We booked online and drove to the lovely centre right on the river surrounded by the rainforest. Our guide was excellent informing us about the river and the history of the 5 crocodiles we saw on the banks. The stories really made this tour interesting. He knew where each croc came from, their girlfriends/boyfriends and their habits. We were enthralled for the duration. Great value for money.
5A beautiful spring morning, great tour spot!
Absolutely beautiful stunning spot! The tour was well organised, and the venue is easy to find with relaxed atmosphere. Likely due to the spring, the crocs were easy to view. The tour guide is very knowledgeable. We arrived earlier and they accommodated us to an early session on the spot without any hassles. Totally worth the value. 🤩

About Port Douglas
Port Douglas is a relaxed seaside town on Queensland's tropical coast, set between the Daintree rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
Port Douglas began as a gold-rush port in the 1870s and is now an easygoing resort town on a spit of land between the Coral Sea and Dickson Inlet. Four Mile Beach curves away to the north fringed with palms, Macrossan Street holds the cafés and restaurants, and Flagstaff Hill gives a view over the beach and the mountains behind. A small white chapel, St Mary's by the Sea, stands beside the park at the water's edge.
