Trivento was founded in 1996 in Mendoza by Viña Concha y Toro, the large Chilean wine group. That year it began operations by purchasing a winery with a capacity of 2 million liters and a 154-hectare estate in Maipú. The name Trivento comes from the three characteristic winds that influence Mendoza: Polar, Zonda, and Sudestada. Hence, the brand's entire identity is linked to the wind. The tour includes a tasting of three wines by the glass, while visiting the vineyards, the premium winery, and the barrel room. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

About Maipú
Maipú is a wine district just south-east of Mendoza, where old vineyards, olive groves and irrigation channels run beneath the foothills of the Andes.
