5Best way to get to the Caves
Hussein was the best driver. He showed up early, drove expertly, and chose authentic delicious and safe restaurants to have lunch. In addition, he helped us navigate how to find guides and arranged for money exchange when we were in dire need. Couldn’t recommend him enough!
5Easy way to visit Ajanta and Ellora
Strongly recommend visiting both Ajanta and Ellora. Awesome experience, each temple and monastery carved out of the living rock over many decades. Amazing sculptures and frescoes. Taking a tour like this makes it all easy and stress - free.
5Must visit!
The experience was great and heritage of India team was kind enough to curate the itinerary as per our needs. Highly recommended.
5Aurangabad, ajantha ellora caves trip

5Ajantha Ellora trip
Nadeem was an excellent driver very informative and friendly highly recommend. Told us how to bypass the december peak crowds
5Amazing!! Worth it for a weekend.
The place is amazing and I was really impressed with the details. I had heard about the place before but somehow felt it would be similar to Elephanta Caves but after reading the details and experiencing the history first-hand, it was a very different experience. Worth it to go for a weekend and explore this lesser known marvel without worrying or haggling too much with details. We had a very clean car and the driver was good and told us small things about the place. He was also kind enough to guide us to good places to have food around.

About Aurangabad
Aurangabad is a Deccan city in Maharashtra, the base for the rock-cut Ellora and Ajanta caves, a hilltop fortress and a Mughal-era tomb.
Aurangabad, also called Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, took its older name from the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, who governed the Deccan from here before taking the throne, and the city is dotted with old gateways. Bibi Ka Maqbara, a domed tomb finished in 1668 and modelled on the Taj Mahal, is its best-known monument. The Panchakki is a seventeenth-century water mill beside a shrine, and the small Buddhist Aurangabad Caves cut into a hillside date from around the seventh century.
Top-ranked sights in Aurangabad: Bibi Ka Maqbara, Grishneshwar Temple, Aurangabad Caves.
