This trek takes fewer days compared to the classic Annapurna Base Camp Trek, yet offers the same thrill and adventure. The trek allows you to enjoy the views of many mountains in the Annapurna range along with Machhapuchhre or Fishtail (6997m). Lastly, the trek also introduces the Gurung culture and way of life.

About Pokhara
Pokhara is a lakeside city in central Nepal, with Phewa Lake and the Annapurna peaks above it, and the starting point for classic Himalayan treks.
Pokhara lies in a valley at about 800 metres, with Phewa Lake at its heart. Wooden boats cross to the small Tal Barahi temple on an island, and the Lakeside district is a strip of cafés, shops and guesthouses. On clear mornings the Annapurna range and the sharp pyramid of Machapuchare, 'Fishtail', rise above the water, startlingly close to a lowland town.
