• 51 day trekking with the lovely Lo man may

  We had the absolute best day today exploring the beautiful villages around Sapa with the lovely Lo Man May! ❤️ We booked our tour directly through our wonderful eco homestay, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The tour lasted around 6 hours, starting at 9am and finishing around 3pm. Our guide, Lo Man May, was absolutely amazing so sweet, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing her home and culture with us. She took us through the local villages and taught us so much about the different ethnic groups, their traditions and how they live. We explored the bamboo forest and saw so many local crops, including cardamom and cinnamon. We also walked through two beautiful waterfalls where we were able to swim, which was so refreshing! 💦🌿 Along the way, we stopped for a delicious local meal and had plenty of opportunities to take in the incredible scenery. The views were absolutely breathtaking from start to finish. 🏔️ We genuinely cannot recommend Lo Man May enough. She made the whole experience so special, and we loved every minute of our day with her. If you’re staying in a homestay in Sapa, we would 100% recommend doing a local guided trek with her, it’s an absolute must! ❤️

  We had an amazing day with our guide Di! She told us many interesting things about the region and the culture, she was very very friendly and took us through beautiful areas. I would love to repeat and I fully recommend the experience ❤️

  We had such a great time with our guide exploring local places. We learned about local plants, fruits, and culture, and even shared stories about our lives and countries. A super fun and memorable experience! Highly recommend!

• 5Sapa trek

  Great experience, a local guide took us on a trek through the bamboo forest, to some waterfalls, stopped for lunch and taught us lots of local information. Lo man may was our guide and she was excellent. She showed us lots of interesting things. Would reccomend :)

About Sapa

Sapa is a cool mountain town in northern Vietnam, set among rice terraces and ethnic-minority villages beneath Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina.

Sapa sits at about 1,500 metres in the Hoàng Liên Sơn range near the Chinese border. It began as a French hill station in the early twentieth century and still has a stone church at its centre. Fansipan, at 3,143 metres the highest mountain in Indochina, rises behind the town, and a cable car now carries visitors most of the way up.
