  • 5Wonderful Art and Architecture Tour of Santa Fe with Bonnie!

We had a wonderful half-day Art & Architecture walking tour of Santa Fe with Bonnie. We scheduled this tour toward the end of our trip, so our group had already seen many of Santa Fe’s major highlights. Bonnie was incredibly accommodating and adjusted the itinerary to focus on places and details we hadn’t already experienced, which we really appreciated. Bonnie is an excellent communicator and has a wonderful way of sharing the history, art, architecture, and culture of Santa Fe without making the tour feel like a history lesson. She shared so many interesting facts and stories along the way and kept the entire morning engaging and enjoyable. The perfect ending was a wine tasting at Gruet Winery right in the heart of Old Santa Fe. It was the highlight of the tour and such a fun way to finish our morning together. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Bonnie and would absolutely recommend her, especially to travelers who want a guide who is knowledgeable, personable, and willing to tailor the experience to their interests and what they have already seen. Thank you, Bonnie, for a wonderful morning in Santa Fe!

  • 5Perfect Overview of Santa Fe

This Santa Fe walking tour was a great way to see and learn about Santa Fe! To begin with, we appreciated the pre-tour communication, which helped up to be prepared for the walk and told us where to meet. When we arrived at the Heritage location, we received a friendly and warm welcome. Teo our guide took us at a nice and leisurely pace to see the highlights of the area. Along the way he shared information about the architecture and history of the city, and took time to answer our questions. There was enough variety in the types of buildings and outdoor spaces that everything was interesting and kept our attention for the duration of the tour. We saw all the sites listed in the tour description and a few nice surprises also. The last stop of the tour was a relaxing wine tasting, with a table all set and reserved for us when we walked in. .

We had a wonderful guided walking tour with Teo. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We saw many site we never would have seen if we weren’t with a guide. We skipped the wine tasting but still highly recommend the tour.

  • 5A highlight to remember

Matteo was our guide on a very informative walking tour of Santa Fe. He was very well informed and made every effort to answer all our questions about Santa Fe's history and architectural roots. The highlight of our tour was a visit to the state capital building where there were three floors of artwork by both indigenous and local New Mexican artists. A wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

About Santa Fe

Santa Fe, capital of New Mexico, is a high-desert city of adobe buildings, art galleries and Native American and Spanish traditions below the mountains.

Santa Fe lies at about 2,200 metres at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and it is the highest state capital in the United States. Spanish colonists founded it around 1610, and the Palace of the Governors, an adobe building on the central plaza, dates from those early years. Portals along the plaza are where Native American artists sell jewellery and pottery. The spiral staircase of the Loretto Chapel and the Cathedral Basilica of St Francis, in Romanesque style, stand within a few streets.
